Fund Intelligence has expanded the reach of its Operations and Services Awards to reward excellence among asset managers in the way they have implemented operational restructures and led the way with tech innovations that have benefited both their investors and their businesses.
We have also introduced awards to highlight the positive work of fund groups when it comes to implementing market leading diversity and inclusion policies.
See below for the list of categories focused on promoting excellence among operational, technology and diversity leaders at US fund complexes.
The awards will be judged by our independent expert panel who you can read about here (judges will only take part in categories where they have no business or personal conflict.)
We hope these awards act as a means of promoting best practice across the asset management community and rewarding the huge amount of hard work and innovative thinking that goes on behind the scenes at US asset management firms.

Service provider awards
Vendor management continues to remain a core component of operations for fund groups, and these awards continue to also recognize the excellence of the service providers that support managers across their business lines.
Click here to see the full set of award categories, which are focused on administrators, auditors, consultants, lawyers, research providers, PR firms, technology firms and others. New categories for service providers include recognizing the vendors that support asset managers in meeting the Securities and Exchange Commission’s new liquidity rule requirement, as well as the firm that is best navigating regulatory data hurdles to support managers as a research and data vendor.
With its rigorous and independent judging process, our awards are widely recognized as the gold standard when it comes to recognizing the fund industry’s most innovative, client-centric and successful service providers.
At a time when fund groups, alongside their fund boards and investors, are shining a stronger spotlight on vendor due diligence, the Fund Intelligence Operations and Services Awards are a great way to highlight the strides made by your firm to stay ahead of the curve.
We look forward to hearing from you and receiving your entries by our June 6 deadline.
The 2019 awards will take place on Thursday, Oct. 10 at the Lotte Palace in New York. Please enter here, or email e.sakamoto@fundintelligence.global with any questions. For a list of winners from last year, please check out the October 2018 edition of Fund Operations. Best of luck to all applicants!
